General
It depends on your age, health, tobacco use, coverage amount, and the type of policy. A healthy 35-year-old buying term typically pays far less than someone buying permanent coverage at 65. The only way to know your number is to run real quotes across carriers, which is free.
Term Life
The coverage ends. Most policies include a conversion option that lets you move to permanent coverage before a deadline without new medical underwriting. We plan for that up front.
Whole Life
As long as the required premiums are paid and no unpaid loans erode the policy, the death benefit remains in force for life.
Indexed Universal Life
The index floor protects credited interest from negative index years, but policy charges still come out of cash value. Cash value can decline, and a poorly funded policy can lapse.
Final Expense
Simplified-issue plans have health questions and can decline. Guaranteed-issue plans accept nearly everyone but carry a waiting period before the full benefit is payable.
Mortgage Protection
No. This is an individual life insurance policy you own. It is not affiliated with, sold by, or endorsed by your lender, and the mailers you may have received from other agencies are not from us.
